A 'Mobile User' has purchased a mobile content via SMS at RM1.00 and assume that you are subscribing to our SME package with 80% profit sharing after telco deduction

• Maxis Users

In this scenario, Maxis will take 42% or RM0.42 as Telcos profit sharing from the total SMS transaction. The remaining of 58% or RM0.58 will then be shared between EzyMobile and EzyMobile Merchant. Below is the profit sharing scheme between both parties :

EVERWORKS : 20% or RM0.116 (20% x RM0.58)
Merchant : 80% or RM0.464 (80% x RM0.58)

• DiGi Users

In this scenario, DiGi will take 30% plus RM0.07 or RM0.37 (RM0.30 + RM0.07) as Telcos profit sharing from the total SMS transaction. The remaining of RM0.63 (RM1.00 – RM0.37) will then be shared between EzyMobile and EzyMobile Merchant. Below is the profit sharing scheme between both parties :

Merchant : 80% or RM0.504 (80% x RM0.63)

• CELCOM Users

In this scenario, CELCOM will take 53% or RM0.53 as Telcos profit sharing from the total SMS transaction. The remaining of 47% or RM0.47 will then be shared between EzyMobile and EzyMobile Merchant. Below is the profit sharing scheme between both parties :

EVERWORKS : 20% or RM0.094 (20% x RM0.47)
Merchant : 80% or RM0.376 (80% x RM0.50)

• Who should sign up for EVERWORKS’s SMS hosting solution?

EVERWORKS’s SMS hosting plan is designed for individual, business, and Content Provider (CP) who intended to integrate SMS gateway with any of their existing software, included CRM, payment & billing, intranet system, monitoring software and etc. With any of our SMS hosting plan, we provide everything you need to mobilise your software with our SMS gateway, either for micro payment or interactive messaging purpose. A complete and easy-to-use API documentation will be given to guide our merchant to integrate with our SMS gateway. Also, application hosting server will be given to host your application and database.

• Will there be any yearly and monthly renewal fee on your SMS hosting solution?

Yes. Our SMS hosting package is yearly renewal basis. The renewal fee is included your yearly SMS gateway connection fee with all local Telcos, SMS customer service support (we will act as your front end customer service when your client need any further assistance to support your marketing campaign), and application server hosting.

• How long can I get the gateway access details, and can I integrate my application immediate?

YES. EVERWORKS will your SMS gateway account immediately upon signed up our SMS hosting solution. With the given API documentation, you and your programmer can then integrate the existing application such as CRM and Billing software with our SMS gateway immediately. Of course, if you need any assistance over the integration, feel free to contact our software department for more guideline.

• How many short codes I can use after signed up, and can I choose other from the given short code?

You can only have one short code for one hosting plan. Yes, you can choice any short code from our existing shared short code numbers.

• What is SMS Short Code?

Short code is a short, easy-to-remember phone numbers. In Malaysia, our short code has only five digits such as 32886.

• Can my oversea clients send their request to the short code?

NO. The given SMS Short code is only applicable to Malaysian-based Telcos. Feel free to contact our sales representative if you need any oversea short code connection.

• What is SMS keyword?

SMS Service Keyword is used to distinguish different services on a shared short code. From billing point-of-view, the SMS keyword is used as billing identifier to define each incoming SMS request from different keyword

• Can you give me some guideline on how to choice the right keyword for my SMS campaign?

Each registered SMS Service Keyword will be unique from other SMS merchant under the same Short Code. In general, your SMS Service Keyword should be inter-related with the company name, product brand, and type of SMS services.

• How can I use the given server hosting platform and IP address from the package?

For your information, all our SMS hosting package is come with our Application & Database Hosting Server - LINUX & Windows platform that allow you to host your SMS application before integrating it in more speedily & effective way. Also, you can use the given fixed IP to integrate with our SMS gateway without registering any domain name.

• Can I use my SMS keyword immediately after purchased the SMS hosting plan?

No. Each SMS keyword registration will takes about 10 working days to complete with 3 different Telcos in Malaysia.

• What is the maximum character for my SMS Service Keyword?

We do not limit your SMS keyword, but not less than 2 characters.

• Why is it required to register the SMS Service Keyword with the local Telcos?

To compliance with the latest regulation by MCMC Malaysia (Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission), all new keyword is required to register with Telcos before launching their SMS service. The registration of keyword will normally take about 10 working days to approve. For more information, please contact our Keyword Activation Team at software@everworks.com.my

• How to check my keyword status during the registration stage?

Send a test SMS (such as type KEYWORD and send to 3XXXX) to your keyword will be the best way to check on your keyword status. If the replied SMS stated "Invalid Keyword", it means your keyword is still pending for approval by this Telco. As each Telco will take different timeframe to register the keyword, hence merchant is suggested to test the keyword from each different networks (like Maxis, Celcom and DiGi) to verify your keyword.

• Can I change my SMS Service Keyword later?

No. All registered SMS Service Keywords are not allowed to change after submission to Telcos.

• Can use the SMS hosting solution to run my SMS subscription business?

Yes. All our SMS hosting solution is supporting IOD (Information On-Demand) and Subscription-based SMS campaign. In short, IOD SMS campaign can be defined as one MO one MT campaign, meaning our SMS gateway will allow one charge (or one respond) to one request of service. For Subscription-based SMS campaign, its can be defined as one MO multiple MT campaign, meaning your mobile user only send one SMS (or MO) and our gateway allow you to respond more than one reply (or MT) during the subscription period.

• Why I need to register the keyword again in order to run my SMS subscription business?

Under the new preventive gateway implemented by local Telcos, all subscription-based SMS keyword MUST register the subscription pricing, and any change of the registered subscription pricing is subject to Telcos’ approval.

• How long can I receive my payment?

Approximately, you will receive your SMS revenue in 3 months time from all respective Telcos in Malaysia. Once payment ready, you can make your redemption directly from our SMSWORKS portal.

• Do you provide real time DN (Delivery Notification) for each SMS transaction?

Of course, real time DN (Delivery Notification) will be given to every SMS transaction within our SMS gateway, and all these real time can either monitor in our SMSWORK portal, or retrieve the status automatically to your application via our API connection.

• Can I reply my mobile users with a non-charged SMS when they requested the service?

Yes. For IOD (Information On-Demand) services, you can always reply your mobile users with any price included a free or ‘zero price’ SMS (RM0.00) under our unified pricing structure (e.g. RM0.30, RM0.50, RM1.00, RM1.50 and etc), but Telco will charge on every free SMS that returned to your mobile users as part of their infrastructure fee.

• How many applications can I connect to your SMS gateway?

Unlimited! With using the given API documentations, we do not limit your application connection to our SMS gateway via the assigned SMS keyword.
