• Can you host my existing short code under EVERWORKS’s Short Code hosting plan?
Yes. We will assist you to migrate the existing short code from your existing provider to our SMS gateway – SMARTGateway at no extra cost such as any migration fee. The migration will change your short code’s current setting of IP address to each local operator. Furthermore, we will coordinate with each operator on behalf of your company to minimize the migration duration and downtime.
• I do not have any short code. Can I sign up this service?
Yes of course. We can act as your consultant from your MCMC license application to short code integration with the operators. We at EVERWORKS have successfully assisted and implemented more than 20 license providers in Malaysia to host their short code at our SMARTGateway platform.
• As we know, we need MCMC license to run this business. Can you help on this?
Yes. We are act as your license consultant to prepare all required documents for MCMC such as your company profile, business model proposal, SMS gateway architecture diagram, and etc. The yearly license is RM2500, and our consultant fee is RM5000 one time.
• Maintaining the MCMC license is complicated to us. Can I rent one short code from you and host it with your Short Code hosting solution?
Yes. We have more than 10 short codes registered by EVERWORKS, and most of our short codes are renting out to our client (sometime we called it dedicated short code). We will present our existing list of available short code number for your choice.
• Do I need to buy server or any hardware to host my short code with you?
No. This is an absolutely 100% hardware free solution. EVERWORKS will take care of all required hardware such as server, VPN firewall and Windows license to host your short code. Also, all datacenter requirements such as dedicated IP address and bandwidth have been included on our package.
• Do EVERWORKS take any profit sharing from my transaction on my short code?
No. Our profit sharing is zero. We only care about the reliability and performance issue on your messaging system and infrastructure that implemented by EVERWORKS.
• I have the intention to setup my SMS business. Can your SMS gateway support my requirements as a mobile aggregator provider?
Absolutely yes, our Short Code hosting plans are all backed by our exceptional SMS Gateway system – SMARTGateway. Apart from this, we will provide you API documentation once the short code is integrated. This API is important for you to run your mobile aggregator provider business, and it’s used to allow your merchant to connect your SMS gateway.
• Can I outsource the customer service support to you?
Yes. This service is optional to our merchant. As we know, your short code will be suspended if you failed to provide a proper customer services to your mobile users. EVERWORKS is the first and the only SMS provider in Malaysia to provide the "Call-to-Stop' unsubscribe service to serve your mobile users better.
• As the package is being differentia by total monthly MT traffic. Can I know how the MT traffic counts in managing my short code?
Yes, our short code hosting package is differentia by the total monthly MT traffic and number of short code. The total monthly MT traffic is counted based on the MT message that has charge rate and generated from the SMS gateway, while MT message that generated such as error message and subscription registration message on Telco level will not be counted.
